Metrology plays a vital role in advancing technology, strengthening industries, ensuring product quality, facilitating trade, driving economic growth, and supporting a sustainable society. With rapid developments in precision engineering, communication, environmental engineering, healthcare, clean energy, and nano-metrology, National Metrology Institutes are under increasing pressure to realize physical and chemical measurement standards with the highest accuracy and SI traceability.

The National Conference on “Advances in Metrology (AdMet)” is one of the major scientific events organized annually in India, along with pre-conference workshops in selected areas of metrology. AdMet-2026 is the 10th national conference in the AdMet series and is the flagship event of the Metrology Society of India (MSI).

The conference aims to provide a strong platform for metrologists, technocrats, researchers, and students from various NMIs, laboratories, and institutions to share knowledge and experience in key R&D areas and to foster collaborations with scientists worldwide. AdMet-2026 will also include an exhibition of the latest metrological equipment, measurement systems, and related accessories, giving manufacturers and service providers an opportunity to showcase products and services and build customer relations.

The organizing committee invites researchers, metrologists, academicians, policy makers, and exhibitors to submit their research work for presentation.

AdMet-2026 will be organized in Bengaluru, one of India’s most vibrant technology and innovation hubs, known for its modern infrastructure, rich culture, pleasant climate, green spaces, and cosmopolitan atmosphere.
